130 participants from Kyiv, Lutsk, Uzhhorod, Zhytomyr, Kryvyi Rih, Manevychi, Kovel, Novovolynsk, Liuboml, Horokhiv, Kamin-Kashyrskyi, and Tiachiv climbed the highest peak in Ukraine—Mount Hoverla (2061 m). The event was registered in the “Book of Records of Ukraine” as the most numerous simultaneous mass ascent by an energy supplier’s team.
The event combined two important goals: supporting volunteers and strengthening the team spirit of the Tolk Group employees. It was organized to mark the anniversary of the founding of Tolk Ukraine LLC and was dedicated to the idea of helping those in need—from veterans to the rescuers who save lives in the mountains every day.
Iryna Beresnieva, General Director of “Tolk Ukraine” company, who ascended with the team, emphasized that this company anniversary was special:
“130 colleagues—all together! It was powerful and bold, vibrant and immensely beautiful! I will never tire of admiring the landscapes of our wonderful country and the incredible character traits of my colleagues! The best people in the most beautiful place in Ukraine. The energy that conquers peaks—that is Tolk!”
Oksana Hentish, Director of Volynenergozbut LLC, noted that the joint ascent became a symbol of strength and teamwork:
“For us, this peak is not just a geographical point, but also a symbol of striving for new heights. Nothing is impossible when you have people by your side who support and understand you, who are on the same wavelength. To walk together, fight together, and win together – this is the only way!”
Employees from all regions where Tolk operates joined the ascent. The youngest participant was 4-year-old Hlib Ponomarenko, whose mother works in the call center of Zakarpattiaenergozbyt LLC.
The company’s director, Yuriy Fedko, stressed:
“The Tolk Group is a team of like-minded people who know exactly what they are working on, where they are heading, and in their development, constantly strive for new peaks.”
Tolk based the event on the idea of support. Inspired by the “Veteran’s Camp” initiative on Hoverla, which is restoring the stele at the summit and updating the charging station in the rescue hut, the Tolk team joined the cause by purchasing a battery for the station and some of the construction materials.
“We believe that our help will be useful and will save more than one life,” the organizers noted.
The Tolk Group expresses its gratitude to the Departments of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions for their assistance in organizing the ascent.
