Energy Club adheres to an information policy that ensures timely and complete coverage of all important information about the activities of the energy and utility markets, which allows to form the most complete possible idea of the peculiarities of the functioning of the energy sector of Ukraine.
The information policy has been developed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Natural Gas Market", the Law of Ukraine "On the Electricity Market", the Law of Ukraine "On the National Energy Regulatory Commission for Energy and Utilities" and is based on the provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On Information".
Energy Club pursues a policy based on the following basic principles:
The policy is designed for external and internal communications.
Communications model: Communications of the energy industry should be professional and bring benefits and development to participants in the energy and utility markets.
Communications model tasks:
The list of topics and the work calendar of the Energy Club are formed and approved during the meetings of the Energy Club's specialized committees.
This policy provides for the provision of permanent access of interested parties to information about the activities of Energy Club in the following categories:
Energy Club builds its relationships with key stakeholders on the basis of respect, long-term cooperation and the principles of optimal interaction.
Energy Club guarantees equal opportunities for all Club members. Discrimination or giving preference depending on origin, social and property status, racial and national origin, age, gender, language, political views, religious beliefs, type and nature of occupation, sexual orientation, place of residence and other circumstances is unacceptable.
In its activities, Energy Club does not apply any form of harassment (psychological, verbal or physical) to employees, partners, competitors, etc. for the above reasons.
Energy Club supports and encourages the initiative and ingenuity of Club members, values their individuality and potential, and promotes the development and implementation of skills and abilities.
The main criteria for making decisions regarding inclusion in the Energy Club are the qualifications of the personnel, their professional abilities, specific achievements of the enterprise or company.
Interaction with partners
Energy Club interacts with business partners on the basis of long-term cooperation, mutual benefit, respect, trust and fairness, objectivity and good faith.
Energy Club strives to work with partners who have an impeccable reputation, comply with the law and generally accepted norms of corporate and business ethics.
Energy Club conscientiously fulfills its obligations to business partners stipulated by the terms of contracts, agreements, treaties, and demands the same from them.
Guided by high ethical standards of conduct, principles of legality and the rule of law, respecting the rights, legitimate interests, honor, dignity, and business reputation of partners, the Club remains persistent and principled in defending its own rights and interests. At the same time, Energy Club always resolves all misunderstandings that arise in the process of its activities through legal means, conducting negotiations and trying to reach a compromise.
Energy Club employees do not disclose information about business partners, which may lead to material or moral losses for the Company and/or business partner, except in cases where the provision of information is carried out in accordance with the law.
Energy Club always takes into account the requirements of the legislation of the countries with which it maintains business relations.
Interaction with government bodies and society
Energy Club, realizing the social significance of the results of its activities for the energy industry, strives to build and maintain stable, constructive relationships with government bodies and local governments, which are based on the principles of legality, good faith, professionalism, partnership, mutual trust, respect and unwavering commitments for the development of energy and utility markets.
Interaction with media representatives
Energy Club maintains constant interaction with the media and builds it on the principles of openness and transparency, efficiency and readiness for dialogue, adherence to high ethical standards of communication.
The media department is responsible for interaction with the media and the source of providing official information about Energy Club and its members, which uses all available communication channels for this purpose: distributing press releases, holding press conferences, placing various information materials in print media, on radio, television, on the Internet, etc.
Energy Club does not allow the dissemination of false information, distortion of facts, which may harm it, its partners and the country as a whole.
Only Energy Club managers or persons authorized by them have the right to speak publicly on behalf of Energy Club in the media and at other events with the participation of media representatives.
