Gooree Delegation in Ukraine: Official BESS Launch

Recently, a delegation from our Chinese partners, Gooree, visited Ukraine. This marked the official launch of the BESS project and involved “in the field” collaboration with our team.

Engineering Validation at the Client’s Site

During the visit, we completed a key milestone at a client’s facility—engineering validation:

  • Performed commissioning works (setup, verification, system and protection tests, component integration);
  • Executed system startup (transitioning to operational modes and confirming stability);
  • Confirmed key scenarios: stability, manageability, and load readiness.

Parallel to this, we held a series of meetings with Ukrainian business representatives to discuss practicalities: how to integrate BESS into an existing corporate power grid, critical site requirements, high-value application scenarios, and the actual ROI economics.

The validation results confirmed: the systems are ready for operation within the complex conditions of Ukrainian infrastructure.

Semi-Solid: The Technology Raising the Safety Standard

Why are our systems unique? The answer lies in Semi-Solid technology.

Semi-Solid batteries represent an evolutionary leap compared to traditional lithium-ion batteries. The key difference lies in the cell architecture and electrolyte type: instead of a classic liquid electrolyte, a semi-solid (viscous) clay-like substance is used, which behaves differently under load and thermal stress.

For business, this solution provides four critical advantages:

1. Phenomenal Fire Safety (80% higher than standard)

Traditional Li-ion batteries can ignite in seconds if mechanically damaged. The semi-solid electrolyte in Gooree systems does not support combustion and does not trigger a chain thermal reaction.

Important: Semi-Solid technologies pass the Nail Penetration Test. Even when a metal nail pierces the cell, it does not catch fire or smoke. Where a regular battery becomes a “flamethrower,” Semi-Solid remains stable.

2. Absence of Thermal Runaway

The semi-solid structure provides significantly better temperature control. Even in the event of a short circuit or overheating, the system does not enter a state of uncontrolled temperature rise.

3. Climatic and Mechanical Durability (IP55)

Industrial facilities require resistance to vibration, shock, and temperature fluctuations. Our systems operate in a range from –30°C to +55°C, allowing for outdoor operation without power loss in any season.

4. Predictable Lifespan and Slow Degradation

Due to stable chemistry and the absence of thermal “peaks,” the cells wear out much slower. Businesses receive a long service life and a clearly predictable maintenance cycle.

In tandem with the Gooree partnership, this is reinforced organizationally: official manufacturer tech support, platform access, and the ability to scale solutions.
