Nadiia Biliavtseva: “Energy Club is about people who together shape the future of energy”

In 2026, Energy Club celebrates its 10th anniversary. During this time, the Club has become the largest business community of energy companies in Ukraine, uniting over 100 participants and creating a space for professional dialogue, exchange of expertise, partnership and search for joint solutions.

Among the companies that have been part of this community for a long time is Vector VS, a Ukrainian commercial engineering company that has been operating in the electrical market for over 20 years. The company supplies equipment and implements modern complex engineering solutions for industrial and civil facilities, combining technology, expertise and partnership in its work, develops modern engineering education and actively participates in charitable initiatives.

Why it is important for business to remain within the professional dialogue, what opportunities participation in the Energy Club opens up, why the most valuable contacts are often created after the end of official discussions, and how the understanding of energy has changed over the years, was told by Vector VS Marketing Director Nadiia Biliavtseva.

– Ms. Nadiia, how long has your company been a member of the Energy Club and why did you decide to join the Club at one time?

– Vector VS has been a member of the Energy Club since 2019. During this time, a lot has changed – both in the energy sector, in the country, and in ourselves. But the understanding of how important it is to be part of a strong professional environment has remained unchanged.

At one time, the decision to join the Energy Club was very natural for us. We have been working in the Ukrainian electrical market for many years and see energy from a practical perspective every day – through the needs of enterprises, infrastructure, our clients and partners.

At the same time, it is important for any business to go beyond its own working circle from time to time: to look wider, hear from others, exchange experiences and compare its vision with what is happening in the market.

Energy Club has become just such an environment for us – a place where people who work in the same industry meet, understand each other’s context and can talk about important things professionally and frankly.

– What practical value does participation in the Energy Club bring to your company?

– Simply put – it is people, information and the opportunity to be part of a professional dialogue.

It is very valuable for us to hear from different market participants – energy companies, industry, manufacturers, experts, state representatives. Not just from news or official announcements, but directly from people who make decisions, implement projects and face real challenges every day.

Sometimes one good conversation after an event gives more understanding of the situation than dozens of read materials. And an acquaintance that began with a few words over coffee can later grow into a partnership, a new idea or a joint project.

For Vector VS, the opportunity to share our own expertise is also important. We work a lot with electrical and engineering solutions and see our task not just in supplying equipment. It is important for us to understand the client’s request, see how their needs change, and find solutions together.

It is this kind of exchange – when you not only get something from the community, but you yourself can be useful to others – that is the true value of Energy Club for us.

– What formats of Energy Club work are most useful to you and why?

– We value live meetings, forums and professional discussions the most.

Energy is a very technological industry, but at the same time it is very human. Behind equipment, megawatts, standards, technologies and large projects there are always specific people and their decisions.

Forums provide an opportunity to see the big picture and understand what the market is living through today. In a smaller circle you can talk more deeply and frankly.

And sometimes the most valuable part of the event begins after the panel discussion is over – when you can approach a person, ask questions, exchange opinions or just talk without a microphone.

We also value interviews, online discussions and analytical content of Energy Club. Today there is a lot of information, so it is especially important to be able to not just get the latest news, but also understand the context and hear different points of view.

– How, in your opinion, has the role of Energy Club changed for the energy market of Ukraine in 10 years?

– Vector VS has been part of Energy Club for seven years, so we have gone through a significant part of this journey together.

During this time, the energy market itself has changed. But, perhaps, our common understanding of what energy means for the country has changed the most.

After the start of a full-scale war, it is no longer just business and not just the economy. Energy is the stability of the country, the work of enterprises, heat and light in homes, the ability of hospitals, schools, communities and entire cities to continue living.

And the last few years have very sharply shown thathow much we all depend on each other: generation, networks, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, engineers, service companies, business, expert environment, the state.

Therefore, we see the role of Energy Club today not simply in creating a platform for communication. Its value is in the ability to bring different people together at one table, give them the opportunity to hear each other and maintain a professional dialogue even in the most difficult times.

Because a strong market is not only about strong individual companies. It is also the ability to talk to each other, combine expertise and find solutions together.

– What event, discussion or initiative of Energy Club was especially memorable for your team?

– For our team, this is certainly a charity football tournament Energy Cup.

At first glance, football is not about professional discussions or the energy market at all. But, perhaps, that is why this format is close to us.

Here you especially feel that Energy Club is primarily about people. On the football field, it is no longer so important who holds what position and what company they represent. There is a team, excitement, support for each other, emotions and a common goal.

And today this goal is much bigger than football, because the Energy Cup has a charitable component and helps support our defenders.

For Vector VS, participation in such initiatives is not about formal presence or sporting results. It is about involvement. About the opportunity to do another useful thing together with the professional community.

And, probably, it is precisely such moments that best show that a real community is formed not only at forums and conferences. It is formed when people unite around common values.

– What would you like for Energy Club in the next 10 years?

– First of all – not to lose the living energy of the community.

To grow, attract new people and companies, raise complex and sometimes uncomfortable issues, create new formats – and at the same time remain a place where you want to come not only for information or new contacts, but also for a good professional conversation.

The Ukrainian energy industry has a huge journey ahead: restoration, modernization, decentralization, new technologies, increasing energy efficiency and further integration with Europe.

And I really want us to look back in the next ten years and see how many strong decisions, partnerships and ideas have emerged simply because the right people met, heard each other and decided to do something together.

So we want Energy Club to remain a place for such meetings.

And, of course, to celebrate its 20th anniversary in a strong, modern, energy-sustainable and peaceful Ukraine.

– In one sentence: Energy Club for your company is…

– Energy Club for Vector VS is its people in the energy sector: those with whom you can speak the same professional language, argue, share experience, support each other and move forward together.

The Energy Club anniversary is the story of people meeting, exchanging experiences, looking for solutions and ultimately finding opportunities for cooperation.

The importance of such a community was especially clearly manifested in the most difficult times for Ukraine. Energy today is not only business, technology and infrastructure, but above all – the country’s stability, the work of enterprises, heat and light in homes, and therefore – the shared responsibility of everyone working in the industry.

Ahead are restoration, modernization, decentralization, new technologies and integration with the European energy space. And certainly the next ten years of Energy Club will be a time of new ideas, strong partnerships and solutions that will change the Ukrainian energy sector. Because a strong industry starts with people who know how to listen to each other and do a common cause.
