Iryna Dotsenko: "At Energy Club, expertise, partnership, and open dialogue turn into real opportunities"

Energy Club celebrates its 10th anniversary, uniting around a professional dialogue companies, experts, investors and representatives of the public sector, who shape the future of the Ukrainian energy sector. Today, it is especially important that this dialogue goes beyond discussions and turns into specific technological solutions, investment projects and new opportunities for market development.

Among the Energy Club members is the Ukrainian company Solar Steel Construction (SOLARsk), which has been developing the solar energy sector for over ten years and is today one of the prominent players in the Eastern European market. The company combines its own metallurgical production, engineering expertise and implementation of turnkey EPC projects, has experience in participating in projects with a total capacity of over 5,000 MW, exports products to more than 30 countries and is actively expanding its product portfolio.

Solar trackers and energy storage systems are becoming new strategic directions for SOLARsk – technologies that will play an increasingly important role in building a decentralized, flexible and sustainable energy system in Ukraine.

The Energy Club media department spoke with Iryna Dotsenko, commercial director of Solar Stalkonstruktsiya LLC, about the role of the professional community in the development of the energy business, the practical value of membership in the Energy Club, current market trends and the prospects of modern energy solutions.

– Our company has been a member of the Energy Club since the beginning of 2026. We joined the Club because we are convinced that the development of the energy market occurs through open professional dialogue, exchange of practical experience and joint search for effective solutions, – noted Iryna Dotsenko.

–  What practical value does participation in the Energy Club bring to your company?

–  For us, it is primarily a professional community where you can exchange expertise and gain valuable practical experience from industry colleagues. As an EPC company implementing solar energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects, we have the opportunity to share our own expertise in the design, construction, service and implementation of modern energy solutions, as well as to be aware of current trends and market challenges.

–  What formats of Energy Club work are most useful for you?

–  Each format has its own value, but we value events that involve live communication, discussions and networking the most. It is in an open professional dialogue that new ideas, partnerships and solutions are born, which move not only individual companies forward, but also the entire energy market.

–  In your opinion, how has the role of Energy Club changed for the energy market of Ukraine over the past 10 years?

–  Although our cooperation with Energy Club has been going on for a relatively short time, we have already seen a high level of activity of the team and its contribution to the development of the industry. Energy Club successfully unites business, manufacturers, investors, experts and the state, creating a professional platform for discussing current challenges, exchanging experience and forming a common vision for the development of the energy sector of Ukraine.

–  What would you like Energy Club to wish for the next 10 years?

– We wish to continue to remain an authoritative center of the professional energy community, unite strong market players, promote the introduction of innovations and help shape a modern, competitive and energy-independent market of Ukraine.
