Codex Energy joined the Energy Club

A new member company has joined the Energy Club – Codex Energy.

Codex Energy is a new format energy developer that is part of the Ribas Hotels Group ecosystem. The company creates turnkey energy assets: from project preparation, financial modeling and construction to launch, operational management and regular reporting for investors.

The emergence of Codex Energy was a response to the new reality of the Ukrainian energy market. After the large-scale destruction of energy infrastructure, Ukraine needs new sources of generation, flexible solutions for electricity storage and private capital that can participate in the reconstruction of strategic infrastructure.

The company works with energy as a long-term infrastructure asset and opens up access to real energy projects for private investors that are not only built, but also professionally managed after launch.

The first asset of Codex Energy was the Bolgrad Energy Park in the Odessa region – a hybrid energy complex that combines a solar power plant and an energy storage facility. This format allows you to work with two areas at once: electricity generation and energy storage for more flexible work in the market.

Codex Energy takes on the full cycle of creating an energy asset: from site analysis, technical and legal preparation, financial modeling and structuring investor participation – to construction, launch, operational management and reporting.

Among the main areas of the company’s activity:

• search, analysis and selection of land plots for energy projects;
• technical and legal preparation of projects;
• financial modeling and structuring of the investment model;
• attraction of private capital to energy assets;
• design and development of solar power plants;
• development of hybrid energy complexes with energy storage systems;
• organization of construction and support for project implementation;
• procurement and coordination of equipment supply;
• commissioning of energy assets;
• operational management of energy facilities;
• monitoring of asset performance;
• preparation of regular technical and financial reporting for investors.

Today, Bolgrad Energy Park is in an active phase of implementation: preparatory work has started on the site, part of the key equipment has been contracted and paid for, and the launch of generation is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The first payments to investors are expected from the first quarter of 2027.
