The situation on the spot electricity market has reached a crisis point. We are observing an anomalous 40% drop in prices that does not reflect the actual supply and demand balance. These are not just market fluctuations; this looks like artificial dumping, which has already caused billions of hryvnias in losses to independent suppliers and traders.
A chain reaction has begun: contracts are being terminated, payment discipline is collapsing, and most importantly, funding for generation is being disrupted. This poses a direct threat to a stable passing of the autumn-winter period (AWP).
Therefore, Energy Club is organizing an urgent online meeting for our member companies to unite our efforts and develop a common position.
The meeting will take place this coming Tuesday at 12:00.
