Audit vs. Lustration

“We do not support the ‘lustration’ approach. We propose a thorough audit of current NEURC members: checking declarations and lifestyle monitoring. If violations are found—dismiss them. If they worked honestly—why lustration? Firing everyone en masse is inappropriate.”

Strict Voting Rules

“We want NEURC members to bear personal responsibility. We propose prohibiting commission members from abstaining. Let them vote ‘For’ or ‘Against.’ If they vote ‘Against,’ they must provide a written justification.”

New Selection Commission Approach

The MP proposed expanding the Selection Commission from 5 to 7 members to avoid power usurpation, involving representatives from various committees:

  • 3 members—from the Energy Committee;
  • 2 members—from the European Integration Committee;
  • 1 member—from the Economic Development Committee;
  • 1 member—from the Anti-Corruption Committee.
