Energy Club is launching a series of public discussions on the reform of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC). Two legislative initiatives have been registered in the Verkhovna Rada, proposing different approaches to the Regulator’s relaunch and renewal. The final model will directly impact the stability of the “rules of the game,” the predictability of decision-making, and the trust of investors and international partners.
At this first meeting, we invite the authors of the bills to present the logic behind their proposals: what problems they aim to solve, what mechanisms they establish to ensure NEURC’s independence, and how they envision the transition period and safeguards against political influence or a management vacuum.
Representatives of Energy Club member companies will also join the discussion. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
