The Tolk Group continues its unique educational project, “Tolk’s Bright Tips” (“Tolkovi porady Svitlyachka”), aimed at promoting energy efficiency among children.
In the new academic year, specialists from the group’s companies—”Zakarpattiaenergozbut” and “Volynelektrozbut”—visited third and fourth-grade students at Uzhhorod Lyceum No. 7 and fourth-graders at Lutsk Lyceum No. 21 named after Mykhailo Kravchuk. During interactive lessons, they explained how to use electricity sparingly.
The children learned how electricity is generated and supplied and watched a cartoon about the cheerful character Svitlyachok (Firefly), who explains in an accessible way how every family can save electricity without sacrificing comfort.
The schoolchildren actively participated in the discussion: they shared their knowledge about renewable energy sources and explained how to properly turn off lights and use household appliances. At the end of the lesson, the children received memorable gifts from Tolk—stickers featuring Svitlyachok and reflective bracelets for safe movement in the dark.
“A child who carefully turns off the light today will grow into an adult who values every kilowatt tomorrow—and this is the best investment in the future,” emphasized Yuriy Fedko, Director of “Zakarpattiaenergozbut” LLC.
The program’s goal is to teach children about the economical use of energy resources and a responsible attitude towards the environment in an accessible format.
“By teaching children today, we are shaping a conscious generation for tomorrow. When children understand the value of energy, they change the future of the world,” stressed Oksana Hentish, Director of “Volynelektrozbut” LLC.
Soon, “Tolk’s Bright Tips” will continue its journey through the cities of Zakarpattia and Volyn—schools are actively inviting the Tolk team to participate in their educational events.

The educational project “Tolk’s Bright Tips” was launched in October 2023. It is the first initiative in Ukraine by an energy supply company aimed at fostering a culture of energy consumption and environmental responsibility among children. Since its launch, Tolk specialists have conducted dozens of lessons in schools across Zakarpattia, Volyn, and Kyiv, reaching thousands of students and their parents.
