On March 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM, Energy Club invites all interested parties to an online talk show Energy Freedom by Energy Club, dedicated to summarizing the challenging winter period of 2024/2025 and discussing the challenges of restoring Ukraine’s energy sector.
Winter 2024/2025 has been a severe test for Ukraine’s energy system. Participants will discuss key issues, the effectiveness of measures taken, and ways to enhance the resilience of the energy system in the context of martial law and the post-war recovery phase.
Key discussion topics:
- Analysis of key challenges and problems faced by the energy sector during the winter.
- Assessment of the effectiveness of measures taken and identification of ways to improve energy system resilience.
- Prospects for the development of the energy sector under martial law and post-war reconstruction.
- Identification of key issues requiring urgent solutions and formulation of recommendations.
Leading industry experts will participate in the event:
- Valerii Bezus, Vice President of Energy Club, Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency (2021-2023);
- Ivan Plachkov, Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Energy Assembly, Minister of Energy of Ukraine (1999), Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine (2005-2006);
- Andrii Konechenkov, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association;
- Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Chairman of the Board of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine;
