Energy Club continues a series of publications dedicated to the 10th anniversary of its activities. The Club’s member companies share stories of cooperation, talk about the value of the professional community and its role in the development of the Ukrainian energy sector.
The hero of the new interview is the director of Solars Re-Energy Group Rivne Vladislav Politansky. The company, which specializes in comprehensive solutions in the field of renewable energy, joined the Energy Club in 2026.
In an interview, Vladyslav Politanskyy told why the company consciously chose membership in the Energy Club, what practical value it receives from participating in the professional community, which formats of the Club’s work he considers the most useful, how he assesses the role of the Energy Club in the development of the Ukrainian energy market and how he sees its future.
The Director of Solars Re-Energy Group Rivne emphasizes: today Energy Club is not only a platform for professional dialogue, but also one of the centers for forming a common position of the industry, which helps the Ukrainian energy sector respond to modern challenges and shape its future.
– Our company has been in Energy Club for only a few months, and we decided to join the community consciously: solar energy and distributed generation do not exist separately – they are part of a large energy system where everything is interconnected: market, regulation, network, investments, – emphasized Vladislav Politansky
Energy Club is a platform where these topics are discussed not by theorists, but by practitioners – people who actually shape the market. For a full-cycle company that builds turnkey power plants, such access to the industry context is not a luxury, but a working tool.
– Mr. Vladislav, what practical value does participation in the Energy Club bring to your company?
– First of all, it is the quality of information. We see where regulation, tariff formation, and the market for energy storage systems are heading before many others, and we manage to incorporate this into projects.
Second, it is contacts: here, in the same circle, there are generating companies, suppliers, government agencies, potential customers, and investors. Third, it is visibility: participation in the Club confirms that we are a serious player, not a random contractor.
And the fourth thing that I especially appreciate is the opportunity to be part of a common market position, when the industry speaks with the state with one voice.
– What formats of Energy Club work are most useful to you and why?
– For me, the two formats are the most valuable. Closed meetings with industry leaders – there is an honest exchange of experience without “gloss”, you can hear how colleagues actually solved the same problems that we face.
And analytics – it saves time and provides a ready-made basis for strategic decisions.
Forums are also important as an entry point for new contacts and visibility. But real value is born where there is a substantive conversation between specialists on the merits.
– How, in your opinion, has the role of Energy Club changed for the energy market of Ukraine over the past 10 years?
– In my opinion, over the years the Club has gone from a platform for communication to one of the centers for forming an industry position. This has become especially noticeable in recent years, when energy has become an element of national security.
Today, Energy Club is not just a “club of interests”, but a structure that really influences the dialogue between business and the state, helps the market withstand challenges and at the same time looks ahead – to a distributed, decentralized, digital energy system. In ten years, the Club has become something without which it is difficult to imagine the modern energy market of Ukraine.
– What would you wish for Energy Club for the next 10 years?
– I wish to preserve the main thing – the independence of voice and the professional standard, which made the Club authoritative. And also – that the next ten years pass in a peaceful, rebuilt and energy-independent Ukraine, and that Energy Club is among those who built this independence. Influence, a strong team and new ambitious projects.
In ten years, Energy Club has become much more than a professional community. Today, it is a space where experience, expertise, and shared responsibility for the development of the Ukrainian energy sector are combined, and dialogue turns into real solutions.
