Ivan Pozdniakov: "Energy Club helps build professional partnerships"

In 2026, Energy Club marks 10 years of operations. On this occasion, member companies of the business community share their stories of cooperation with the Club, discussing its role in the development of their teams and the Ukrainian energy market.

Kaiser Projects Ukraine is a project logistics company providing comprehensive transport solutions for standard, oversized, and super-heavy cargo. The company specializes in logistics support for projects in energy, industry, construction, and mining, combining the international expertise of Kaiser Projects B.V. (Netherlands) with local expertise in Ukraine.

Ivan Pozdniakov, former Head of Kaiser Projects Ukraine, shared his experience of participating in Energy Club, the most valuable interaction formats, and his wishes for the Club.

— Mr. Ivan, how long has your company been a member of Energy Club, and why did you decide to join at the time?

— Kaiser Projects Ukraine became an Energy Club member in October 2025. For us, it was a natural step, as we were actively working with the energy sector and wanted to become part of a professional community that brings together key market players.

— What practical value did membership in Energy Club bring to your company?

— The greatest value for us was the people and the professional environment. Energy Club helped establish new contacts, meet potential partners, exchange practical experience, and gain a better understanding of market needs.

— Which Energy Club formats were the most useful for you and why?

— Forums and closed-door meetings. These formats provided an opportunity not only to hear expert opinions, but also to network with colleagues, discuss practical issues, find new areas for collaboration, and respond more quickly to changes taking place in the market.

— In your opinion, how has the role of Energy Club for Ukraine’s energy market evolved over the past 10 years?

— In my view, Energy Club has become one of the key professional platforms for Ukraine’s energy sector. The Club brings together businesses, experts, and public sector representatives, creating a space for open dialogue, discussing current challenges, and searching for joint solutions. This role has become especially vital in recent years, when the industry requires rapid coordination and the exchange of practical experience. Such platforms play a crucial role in the development of the energy market today.

— Is there a particular Energy Club event, discussion, or initiative that stands out for your team?

— The Kaiser Projects Ukraine team especially valued events dedicated to the development of energy infrastructure and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) — these topics were among the most relevant for the industry.

— What would you wish Energy Club for the next 10 years?

— I wish Energy Club to remain a space that fosters the development of Ukraine’s energy sector. More successful projects, international connections, new members, and opportunities for open dialogue and knowledge sharing.

— Energy Club for your company is…

— During my tenure, Energy Club was a professional community for the company where new partnerships, ideas, and growth opportunities were born.
