The business meetings “European-Ukrainian Energy Market: Partnership and Prospects”, which took place in Warsaw and Krakow on September 17-19, 2024, aimed to create and strengthen partnership relations between Ukrainian and European companies in the energy sector.
The Tolk Group was represented by Iryna Beresneva, CEO of Tolk Ukraine, Natalia Nimets, Director of Zakarpattyaenergozbut, and Oksana Gentish, Director of Volynelectrozbut. The heads of the companies provided the participants of the first meeting in Warsaw with comprehensive information on the situation in the country’s energy market and development trends in the regions where the Group is present.
“The prospects for cooperation with Polish partners open up new opportunities for us in the field of energy efficiency and conservation of such valuable electricity today,” said Iryna Beresneva, General Director of Tolk Ukraine. “The meeting discussed in detail the latest technologies, in particular energy storage and renewable energy sources, which are crucial for Ukraine’s energy independence.”
Given the global challenges in the industry and the need to integrate the Ukrainian energy market into the European one, such events provide an opportunity to find new solutions in the field of energy security and energy independence of the country, develop new technologies, and attract investments.
“Especially important today is Poland’s assistance in supplying electricity during the heating season. We need to promptly adopt relevant regulatory acts to ensure the implementation of this support, which Poland is ready to provide,” emphasized Iryna Beresneva.
Discussions of cooperation prospects, exchange of experience and establishment of new contacts will continue at the next business meeting in Krakow.
