Roman Yurynets: Energy Club always chooses the right direction

Roman Yurynets – director of LLC “PRET Service Energozmin” – has extensive experience and qualified personnel working in the energy sector. The company provides energy resources to Ukrainian businesses. Main activities: supply of electricity, natural gas, renewable energy services, and energy consulting. According to Roman, based on many years of experience, a key indicator of energy companies’ development is the implementation and promotion of energy-efficient solutions. Specialists from LLC “PRET Service Energozmin” share their experience in practical implementation of renewable energy projects at various events, which can ensure stability and sustainability of the energy sector.

As part of the educational course from Energy Club “Distributed Generation: A Step Towards Ukraine’s Energy Independence,” Roman Yurynets and his colleagues talked about financial models for distributed generation projects. In a brief interview, he discusses the relevance of this topic, the effectiveness of events organized by Energy Club, the benefits of community membership, and requests for the future.

– In our opinion, Energy Club greatly contributes to the development of the energy market. We often communicate with community members both within the club and separately. Membership in Energy Club helps create proper proposals and appeals to government agencies, market operators, etc. regarding directions for energy development in general, – says Roman. – The events organized by Energy Club are always relevant, but their effectiveness, if we resort to mathematics, is about 70 percent – due to the bureaucratization of the state mechanism and the speed of response of higher authorities to market needs. We understand that without state participation, Ukrainian energy, especially in today’s conditions of full-scale invasion, cannot work otherwise. We must move together as a unified front toward improving the situation in the country as a whole and the energy sector in particular.

– What current challenges need to be discussed on Energy Club platforms?

– The issue of distributed generation. We place special emphasis and concentrate our activities in this direction – helping the public sector and businesses develop distributed generation. So community assistance will be very appropriate.

The lecture with colleagues from our company on “Financial Models of Distributed Generation” received positive feedback from listeners of the Energy Club course “Distributed Generation: A Step Towards Ukraine’s Energy Independence.” There were many clarifying questions, indicating audience interest. We presented several cases we developed that we’ve already implemented in our projects. There are requests for consultations and calculations by our specialists. We provide people with practical tools that we’ve used in our own experience for implementing their distributed generation projects. They are in demand and useful for both businesses and individual budgetary organizations.

Upon completion of the educational course on distributed generation, it would be appropriate to conduct a survey of listeners – to understand how deeply they absorbed the material and understood which direction to move and what training they need in the future.
