On November 15, 2024, at 12:00, a working meeting of members of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the investigation of possible violations of the legislation of Ukraine in the formation and implementation of price and tariff policy in the energy and utilities sectors will be held with energy specialists and representatives of specialized media. The purpose of the event is to establish interaction to achieve the main objectives of the Commission and openly cover its activities on issues of public interest.
Vice President of the Energy Club Valeriy Bezus will join this meeting to promote the development of communication between stakeholders of the energy market and express his expert opinion on current issues in the industry.
The meeting will be a platform for an open discussion of ways to improve cooperation in the energy sector and increase its transparency. Participants of the event will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas that will contribute to the sustainable development of the energy sector of Ukraine.
The working meeting is organized within the framework of the activities of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, established in accordance with the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated October 30, 2024 No. 4044-IX. The main tasks of the Commission are to investigate possible violations of the law during the formation and implementation of price and tariff policy in the energy and utilities sectors. The working meeting will contribute to the study of the economic justification of prices, ensuring transparency in setting tariffs and analyzing the financial and economic activities of energy sector enterprises.
