Nova Energy, a member of the NOVA group of companies (Nova Poshta), a member of the Energy Club, has taken an important step towards energy independence.

As reported on his Facebook page, the co-founder of Nova Poshta, Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, a megawatt solar power plant has started operating on the roof of the Kyiv Innovation Terminal.

Key facts:

  • Solar panel area: 5,000 m²
  • Project investment: UAH 14 million
  • Expected payback period: 3 years
  • Installation of uninterruptible power supply systems and electricity storage equipment is planned

According to Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, the abolition of VAT on the import of energy equipment contributed to the implementation of Nova Poshta’s energy program. The company is actively developing renewable energy sources and reducing consumption from the general power grid.

“When a business has free funds, it will invest them in development. And therefore in the common good of the entire economy and society,” Volodymyr Popereshnyuk emphasized.

This project is a vivid example of how business can take responsibility and solve global challenges by investing in sustainable development and energy independence of Ukraine.
