"EnergoStart" training course: first 2 weeks of intensive training

43 participants of the training program “EnergoStart: Training for the Future” successfully completed the first training module. During two weeks of intensive work, they attended 6 classes, where they considered a wide range of topics that are extremely important in today’s conditions. The program included lectures, practical classes, and an interactive seminar, which allowed participants to gain comprehensive knowledge and skills within the module “Fundamentals of Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency”.

The program participants were worked with by an expert on the electricity market and energy system management Dmytro Olefir and Energy Club vice presidents – Maksim Nemchynov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Odesagas”, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine (2020-2021), and Valeriy Bezus, Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency (2021-2023).

The completion of the first module was an important step in the participants’ professional growth. The program will last three months and will end with an offline forum for the exchange of experiences between graduates and industry experts.

The program is aimed at training specialists in the field of energy and energy efficiency. The training is carried out with the support of the project “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”, which is implemented by GIZ Ukraine on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
