Communications Transforming Energy: Energy Club Launches New Intake for PR, GR, and Lobbying Course (2.0)

Energy Club, Ukraine’s largest business association of energy companies, announces the start of a new intake for the training course “Communications and Interaction in Energy: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying.” The training will begin in late January 2025.

Following a successful pilot launch and positive feedback from the first cohort’s participants, the organizers have updated the program to address the specific challenges of wartime and European integration even more precisely.

Ukraine’s energy sector is undergoing unprecedented transformations: the recovery of damaged infrastructure, decentralization, and the implementation of “green” technologies. In these conditions, a company’s ability to build trust with stakeholders, the government, and society becomes a critical factor for business survival and development.

The course is designed specifically for communications specialists, marketers, and GR managers in the energy sector. Its goal is to provide participants with actionable tools for reputation management, crisis communications, and ethical lobbying.

Program and Speakers Over 12 weeks, participants will work through 4 key modules:

  1. Ukraine’s Energy Landscape: Market structure, regulatory framework, and the role of stakeholders.
  2. Strategic PR and Marketing: Crisis communications, ESG standards, and digital promotion channels.
  3. GR and Lobbying: Tools for interaction with authorities, coalition building, and international GR.
  4. Integrated Communications: Combining all tools into a single strategy and analyzing effectiveness.

Participation Details The training takes place online (Zoom, Softboks platform).

  • Start: Late January 2025.

  • Eligibility: For representatives of Energy Club member companies.
