Energy independence of communities: Energy Club invites you to Energy Freedom!

Imagine: your community has its own energy source, independent of centralized networks and external suppliers. You are not afraid of blackouts, your schools and hospitals are always with light and heat, and you also care about the environment and create new jobs. This is not fantasy, this is distributed generation!

On December 17 at 12:00 join the online talk show “Community Energy: Distributed Generation”, organized by Energy Club in partnership with the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine!

Why is distributed generation important?

Today, when Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is constantly under threat, distributed generation is becoming not just an alternative, but a necessity. It allows:

• Increase energy security of communities: ensure stable energy supply even in conditions of accidents or military operations.
• Reduce dependence on energy imports: use domestic resources and reduce energy costs.
• Promote the development of the local economy: create new jobs and attract investments.
• Reduce environmental impact: use environmentally friendly energy sources.

At Energy Freedom we will consider all aspects of distributed generation:

• Benefits for communities: how can distributed generation improve the lives of residents?
• Choosing technologies: which distributed generation facilities are best suited for different needs?
• Cogeneration: how to simultaneously produce electricity and heat with maximum efficiency?
• Launching projects: where to start and how to get the necessary permits?
• Connection to networks: how to integrate distributed generation facilities into the existing infrastructure?

Representatives of the companies “FMT GROUP UA” (European manufacturer of gas and diesel generators), “Temperi Logistics LTD” (gas generator and cogeneration plants) will join the discussion.

The meeting will be moderated by: Andriy Kulykov, journalist, TV and radio host, media expert and Valerii Bezus, vice president of Energy Club.
