The Ukrainian energy system continues to adapt to constant challenges, changing the usual paradigm of development. Today, the main request of business, industry and communities is to ensure stable power supply of production processes. The answer to this request is the development of distributed generation.
To help businesses find optimal solutions, Energy Club is holding the forum “Energy Decentralization 2026: Generation, Storage and Financing” within the framework of the International Specialized Exhibition Green EnerTech – 2026. The event will be held at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv.
Building your own generation for your own consumption is no longer just an environmental or innovative trend. It is now a basic requirement for maintaining the competitiveness of enterprises. Business is massively moving from temporary solutions to the construction of hybrid systems that combine solar power plants, gas installations and industrial batteries (BESS).
However, on the path to energy independence, many practical questions arise: how to properly design a facility, avoid mistakes when obtaining technical conditions from regional energy companies, how to balance the load and, most importantly, where to get the money for this.
The Forum program is built around these practical challenges. During the first panel, experts will analyze technical and legal nuances: from the development of microgrid projects (Micro Grid) to the legalization of new capacities and their connection to the grid.
