The exhibition-forum “Electrical Networks of Ukraine 2024” was held in Kyiv

On October 24, 2024, a specialized exhibition “Electrical Networks of Ukraine 2024” was held in Kyiv, organized by Energy Club, the largest business community of energy companies in Ukraine. The event brought together leading industry companies and experts to discuss the latest technologies that will become the basis of the country’s future electrical networks.

The exhibition participants, including representatives of Energy Club member companies, presented their solutions for automation, monitoring and security of electrical networks.

The event was joined by representatives of the management team from 11 regional energy companies (JSC Khmelnytskyi Blennergo, JSC Mykolaivo Blennergo, PJSC Zaporizhia Blennergo, JSC Ternopil Blennergo, PJSC Cherkasy Blennergo, JSC Kharkiv Blennergo, JSC Sumyoblenergo, JSC Chernigiv Blennergo, JSC Sumyoblenergo, PrJSC Lviv Blennergo, JSC Poltava Blennergo, JSC Vinnytsia Blennergo).

This was a unique opportunity for industry professionals to get acquainted with advanced technologies, establish business contacts, and find solutions to improve the efficiency of their companies.

Among the exhibition participants were the companies LLC “NVP Volten”, PE “Avega”, Neo Electric, Megger, PJSC “Odeskabel”, LLC “TNK Techkomplekt”, which demonstrated the latest equipment and technologies for Smart grid, smart commercial metering and cybersecurity.

As part of the exhibition “Electric Networks of Ukraine 2024”, a forum was held dedicated to the implementation of Smart grid technologies in Ukraine. During two panel discussions, experts discussed the advantages, challenges and prospects for the development of smart grids in Ukrainian cities.

The first panel focused on the issues of implementing Smart grid technologies in cities of various sizes, energy efficiency and integrating new solutions into existing power systems. The speakers shared their experience and perspectives on how Smart grid can reduce energy losses and increase system efficiency.

Speakers of the first panel:

• Yurii Ostapiuk – Deputy Director of the Department, Head of the Investment Policy and Technical Development Department of the Department for Regulation of Relations in the Energy Sector of the National Commission for the Regulation of He emphasized the importance of fire protection solutions in modern realities, in particular in conditions of military challenges. His report became an important component of the discussion, demonstrating the active participation of new club members in solving urgent problems of energy security.The second panel was devoted to automation technologies and security of power grids. The speakers discussed in detail modern software solutions for managing power supply systems and measures to ensure cybersecurity when implementing Smart grid.

The event created conditions for strengthening business ties, exchanging experiences, and finding solutions that will contribute to the modernization of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, ensuring its reliability and efficiency in the future.
