Synergy of Expertise: Energy Club Launches Unique BESS Training Course for Its Residents

27.02.2026

On February 25, the closed online meeting “BESS Insider” took place, bringing together 32 representatives of Energy Club member companies. The main goal of the meeting was to create a space where top managers and owners of energy businesses could find partners, share proposals, discuss technical specifications of equipment, and jointly address real-world challenges faced during the implementation of BESS projects.

During the meeting, Olena Postelniak, head of media department at Energy Club, made an important announcement: the launch of a special internal training course on Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Analyzing the inquiries from participants, Energy Club realized a key point — all the elements of this market “puzzle” already exist within the community. Club residents include professional designers, equipment suppliers, companies with practical BESS installation experience, and representatives of the banking sector who specialize in financing such facilities.

The Cumulative Effect of Expertise

That is why the new course will be built on absolute synergy. The main idea is to create a cumulative effect: where the unique expertise of each individual company is combined to benefit the entire community. The instructors and speakers will be the representatives of the club member companies themselves, sharing practical experience in four main areas:

  • Market status and prospects;
  • Equipment selection;
  • System design;
  • Connection and operation.

The training format is designed for three months (twice a week for one hour via Zoom), allowing it to be conveniently balanced with work.

Benefits for Club Members

Olena Postelniak emphasized that such an exchange of experience is extremely beneficial for club residents: they receive concentrated knowledge from the entire market and have a unique opportunity to strengthen their teams’ competencies without additional budgets. Participation for two employees from each Energy Club member company will be free of charge.

Currently, proposals for specific topics are being collected from community members. To join the development of the curriculum or become a course speaker, companies can contact info@iclub.energy.
