The Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEB), the leading operator of the country’s organized energy markets, has joined the circle of partners of the Ukrainian Energy Investment Forum. The event, organized by Energy Club, will be held on July 11 in Rome.
Such cooperation is a logical step for the Forum, the main goal of which is to move from discussions to the implementation of specific projects for the reconstruction of the Ukrainian energy sector. UEB’s participation emphasizes the important role that transparent market mechanisms and clear rules of the game play in attracting investments.
“In the context of reconstruction, investor trust is our key asset. It is the Ukrainian Energy Exchange that has been building this trust for years, creating transparent price benchmarks and ensuring market liquidity. This is the foundation on which long-term investment projects can be built. We are convinced that the expertise of the UEB will help us more effectively attract capital for the modernization of the Ukrainian energy sector,” emphasized Andriy Kostrytsia, President of Energy Club.
The Ukrainian Energy Exchange is the central platform for trading energy resources in the country, founded in 2010. The exchange organizes trading in natural gas, electricity, petroleum products and other key commodities. More than 900 companies operate on the UEB platform, from large producers and international traders to end consumers. The exchange is also one of the leaders in the Prozorro.Sale system.
The Ukrainian Energy Investment Forum will be held “on the sidelines” of the Ukraine Recovery Conference. The event aims to bring together Ukrainian stakeholders, international investors and technology partners to discuss and launch specific projects in the energy sector.
