Kaiser Projects Ukraine is a reliable partner for customized transport solutions. The project logistics company is a subsidiary of Kaiser Projects B.V. (Netherlands) and was established to provide modern logistics in Ukraine. It combines international expertise, European management standards, and a deep understanding of local conditions to offer clients safe, efficient, and transparent transportation for the most complex cargo.

With extensive experience in transporting heavy-lift transformers, wind blades, generators, turbines, construction machinery, and industrial lines using maritime, road, rail, and multimodal solutions, the company’s specialists provide full-service logistics support. This ranges from technical route surveys and obtaining permits to organizing loading, securing, sea freight, and “door-to-site” delivery.

Kaiser Projects Ukraine LLC cooperates directly with leading shipping lines, ports, terminals, and contractors throughout Europe, enabling it to implement projects of any complexity. The company actively promotes the integration of Ukrainian logistics into the global supply system and sees its mission in connecting the world with Ukraine, supporting the development of national infrastructure, industry, and energy.

“Our approach is based on the principles of precision, responsibility, and trust—three qualities that define every stage of our work,” says Ivan Pozdniakov, Head of Kaiser Projects Ukraine. “We specialize in comprehensive logistics for project, oversized, heavy-lift, and industrial cargo. Our activities cover the energy, construction, mining, oil and gas, mechanical engineering, and infrastructure sectors. We provide a full logistics cycle—from route analysis and transport selection to turnkey equipment delivery using sea, road, rail, and river transport. Kaiser Projects operates at the intersection of European, Black Sea, and Caspian logistics, creating solutions for the import, export, and transit of complex cargo.”

In a conversation with the Energy Club Media Department, Ivan Pozdniakov outlined the company’s main achievements, strategic development plans for the next 1-3 years, and the key role of logistics in energy reconstruction. He also emphasized the importance of business interaction within the professional community. The Head of Kaiser Projects Ukraine LLC shared his vision for the future of the Ukrainian energy market and explained how the partnership with Energy Club will contribute to shaping a modern and resilient energy system for the country.

— Ivan, what recent company achievements are you most proud of?

— First and foremost, the implementation of a series of complex multimodal transportations through the ports of the Black and Mediterranean Seas, as well as the Danube cluster.

Also among our cases:

  • Successful projects involving the transportation of heavy-lift transformers, industrial modules, factory lines, cranes, and wind blades.
  • Building a system of direct contracts with leading shipping lines, terminals, and “Class A” carriers.
  • Developing our own team of experts in Ukraine, combining high service standards with local experience and flexibility.
  • Active participation in the restoration of Ukraine’s infrastructure, particularly through logistical support for energy and industrial projects.

— What are the strategic goals for Kaiser Projects Ukraine in the next 1-3 years?

— Expanding our presence in the project and industrial cargo logistics market in Central and Eastern Europe.

  • Developing our focus on energy, mechanical engineering, and industrial logistics, including the transportation of equipment for production, construction, and infrastructure restoration.
  • Creating synergy between Ukrainian and European companies so that Ukraine can develop as part of international logistics chains.
  • Supporting the reconstruction processes in Ukraine through efficient, transparent, and reliable logistics for large projects.

— This year, your company joined the Energy Club business community. What prompted this decision, and what are your expectations from participating in the energy community?

— We believe that energy reconstruction is a team effort, where logistics works side-by-side with engineers. Energy Club is a platform that unites professionals from various fields, and we want to be part of this dialogue, exchange experiences, and offer logistics solutions for the industry.

— What specific advantages do you see in membership with the Energy Club industry association, especially in the current climate?

— Access to analytics and an expert environment, the opportunity for joint project development with energy market participants, and the formation of a unified business voice in communication with state bodies.

— What problems or challenges, facing your company or the industry in general, do you hope to solve or mitigate through your participation in the Club?

— The main challenge is the lack of coordination between logistics and energy companies, which ultimately affects the resolution of problems, even at the state level. We aim to create a platform for cooperation so that energy projects are implemented quickly and efficiently, and logistical tasks are solved optimally.

— How does Kaiser Projects Ukraine LLC plan to actively participate in the Club’s activities?

— We plan to participate in thematic events related to logistics, supply, import, and export of equipment. We are ready to provide expertise for working groups focused on restoring energy infrastructure. In general, we will support Energy Club initiatives—such as conferences, round tables, and logistics panels.

— What areas of cooperation within the Club are the highest priority for you?

— Exchanging experience between manufacturers, EPC contractors, and logisticians; creating partnership supply chains; and access to industry analytical materials and trends.

— How do you see your role in building a strong and resilient energy system for Ukraine, particularly through the lens of cooperation in the Energy Club?

— I wouldn’t want this to sound presumptuous, but as a logistics company, we often build connections between customers, manufacturers, engineers, and energy facilities. It is the sequence of correct and proper actions at the right time that can optimize not just costs, but also delivery times, which, in turn, directly impacts the recovery and development of Ukraine’s energy system.

Our goal is to make the delivery of energy cargo to Ukraine reliable, transparent, and predictable, even in conditions of unstable infrastructure.

— Ivan, in your opinion, what joint initiatives could Energy Club and its members implement to support the recovery and development of Ukrainian energy?

— To support initiatives in building a reliable energy system for the country, I would like to see Club members participate in working groups on logistics and energy. Energy Club should be a platform for cooperation towards a common goal—namely, collaboration between colleagues and competitors to solve common problems and issues.

— What is your vision for the future of the Ukrainian energy market in 5-10 years? What role will your company and the “Energy Club” play in this vision?

Ivan Pozdniakov
Ivan Pozdniakov

— We see the future of the Ukrainian energy market as an integrated part of the European energy system—with modern infrastructure, a high level of production decentralization, and active development of renewable energy. The priority will be efficiency, sustainability, and localization of processes—from equipment manufacturing to its delivery, installation, and operation in Ukraine.

The role of Kaiser Projects Ukraine LLC in this vision is to be the logistics partner for the energy transformation: ensuring the transport of equipment for modernizing grids, building new generation and storage facilities, substations, and RES systems.

The “Energy Club,” in our opinion, will play a key role in forming a unified professional space where energy professionals, logisticians, manufacturers, developers, and investors work together. It is platforms like these that create a “joint energy of action”—where business doesn’t just react to changes, but actively shapes the future of the industry.

— What would you like to wish the members of Energy Club and potential partners?

— We wish all Club members successful work, fruitful contacts, and shared results. May every project we implement together contribute to the restoration and strengthening of Ukrainian energy. It is important to remain open to cooperation and to support one another, especially in times of change.

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to become part of the Energy Club professional community. It is important for us not only to share our own experience but also to learn from colleagues, understand market needs, and seek common solutions. We believe that through dialogue and partnership, we can make our contribution to the stable development of the industry and the country as a whole.
