The lecture explores the issues of operation and integration of energy systems at the level of settlements and households, considering various energy networks, such as electricity, heat, gas and water, and their interaction. The concepts of distributed generation, energy management and demand management, as well as different types of distributed generation projects and their features are also discussed.
The program is aimed at training specialists for the field of energy and energy efficiency. The training is supported by the project “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine”, implemented by GIZ Ukraine on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
