Energy Club invites leaders and representatives of energy companies to participate in a meeting dedicated to discussing information security issues in the energy sector under martial law.

Martial law conditions significantly increase the risks of cyberattacks and manipulations, which makes information security one of the key components of the stability of the energy system. The adversary actively uses information campaigns to destabilize the energy system, spread panic and undermine trust in state institutions. This meeting is a unique opportunity to combine the efforts of experts, business and the state to counter information threats in the energy sector.

Purpose of the meeting:

  • Analyze the risks of spreading inaccurate information in the energy sector and its impact on the security of energy facilities.
  • Discuss the role of the expert community in forming an objective picture of the state of the Ukrainian energy sector.
  • Identify the basic principles and practices of information security in the energy sector.
  • Develop recommendations for improving information hygiene and countering information attacks.
