On March 31, the Digital Power Huawei Ukraine team together with partners Atmosfera and Photomate Ukraine conducted a workshop.
A representative of Atmosfera company, Yevhen Kryvoruchko, spoke about the company’s activities in the Ukrainian market, showcased implemented projects, and presented a number of financial partners, including Oschadbank, Sense Bank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank, and Piraeus Bank.
Huawei presented an overview of the “All-in-One” SPP+ESS solution, which facilitates the industry’s transition to active consumers through “green” and economical energy. The solution supports 6 ESS usage models that can be applied separately or combined:
The head of the Ukrainian Digital Power department, Oleksandr Alokhin, provided details about Huawei’s innovation, specifically the LUNA2000-215 – a commercial energy storage unit with combined hybrid air-liquid cooling, operating in a temperature range of -30°C to +50°C. Optimizers inside the cabinet provide control of each battery module separately, which ensures lower degradation of the entire storage system over time and increases revenue.
Exceeding industry standards, LUNA2000-215 has received global certification of the highest level, Safety Prime from TUV, confirming the highest degree of protection in case of an outbreak inside the cabinet: no fire in cells, no fire spreading to modules, no system explosion, and maximum personnel protection.
The head of the technical department of Photomate Ukraine, Oleksandr Ivashchenko, provided detailed information about the features of ESS operating modes, particularly their use both when working on-grid and off-grid. He also highlighted the process of selecting the power and capacity of ESS for various operation scenarios, specifically focusing on the possibilities of ESS control using the Huawei SmartLogger monitoring and control device and EMS systems from other manufacturers. Additionally, Oleksandr demonstrated several successfully implemented projects.
