Dear friends and colleagues,
I have important news regarding the situation surrounding my dismissal from the Supervisory Board of JSC “Ukrainian Distribution Grids” (UDG). I have always maintained that I would defend my rights exclusively through the legal system, and today we have received the first significant results.
The court of first instance has reviewed the case and ruled in my favor, partially satisfying the claim. The most crucial outcome for me is that the court has declared the order terminating my mandate as a member of the Supervisory Board invalid.
In our claim, my legal team and I provided a detailed justification showing that the decision to dismiss me was made in violation of both the law and the principles of proper corporate governance. I was dismissed without any individual performance assessment, despite the fact that during my tenure, we successfully built the company’s corporate governance system essentially from scratch. The approach used was selective and resembled a “batch dismissal,” which created direct risks to my professional reputation.
Today’s court ruling serves as official confirmation that my position was legally sound and that the actions taken to terminate my powers were unlawful. This is the best and only proper response to the public manipulations and emotional statements previously directed at me. In a state governed by the rule of law, the final word belongs to the courts, not to public accusations.
Regarding the other claims—specifically, invalidating the order for a new recruitment process and reinstating my contract—the court denied these requests. However, I want to be sincere: for me, the priority was never about clinging to a position or stalling company processes. My primary goal was the legal proof of the illegality of the dismissal and the protection of my professional integrity. That goal has been achieved.
We are currently awaiting the full text of the ruling, after which we will provide a more detailed commentary. With two more judicial instances ahead, the legal process continues, and we are fully prepared for it.
I am sincerely grateful to my legal team for their high level of professionalism. We have proven that defending one’s rights in a civilized and legal manner is the only correct path.
