Schneider Electric modernized heating systems in 26 cities of Ukraine

20.07.2026

Ukrainian heat supply enterprises in 26 cities received modern solutions to increase energy efficiency and reliability of thermal infrastructure. The project was implemented by Schneider Electric, supplying equipment that allows optimizing the operation of pumping systems, reducing electricity consumption and lowering operating costs.

The key element of the modernization was the introduction of frequency converters to regulate the operation of pumping equipment. Such solutions allow for more precise control of technological processes, reduce the load on the power system, increase the efficiency of enterprises and extend the service life of equipment.

As part of the project, Schneider Electric supplied pump and blower control cabinets equipped with modern frequency converters to heat supply enterprises in 26 cities of Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Sumy, Poltava and Kyiv regions.

The company’s solutions include fully equipped pump equipment control cabinets with protection against dust and moisture, which allows them to be installed directly in machine rooms. This simplifies installation, reduces installation costs and ensures reliable operation of the equipment.

The project was implemented before the start of the 2025/2026 heating season. Thanks to this, heat supply companies were able to better prepare for the period of maximum loads, increase the stability of system operation, reduce the risks of unscheduled shutdowns and generally go through the heating season more efficiently.

According to the General Director of Schneider Electric Ukraine, Mykhailo Bubnov, this is not just about the supply of equipment, but about a long-term investment in the development of energy efficiency of Ukrainian heat and power utilities.

“This is not just about the supply of equipment, but about a long-term investment in energy efficiency and stability of heat supply in Ukraine. Already today we see how the implemented solutions help enterprises optimize energy consumption, increase the reliability of systems and form the basis for further modernization of the industry,” he noted.

The company emphasizes that the implemented project has become one of the examples of cooperation aimed at implementing modern energy-efficient technologies and increasing the operational efficiency of Ukrainian utilities.
