Energy Club is a community of energy professionals that brings together experts, analysts and company executives to exchange knowledge, experience and ideas. We are committed to developing the energy sector and supporting its participants in an environment of constant change. Energy Club regularly holds conferences, forums and seminars dedicated to current energy issues.
The tournament is held to provide charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to meet representatives of energy companies in person, to communicate informally and share professional experience, to establish partnerships, and to unite for further cooperation and interaction.
The Energy Cup charity football tournament has become a traditional and important event for the Ukrainian energy community. Established to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and establish informal communication between representatives of energy companies, the tournament brings together industry professionals for a noble cause.
Since 2022, the Energy Cup has regularly brought together teams from the country’s leading energy companies on the football field. Each tournament, whether in spring or autumn, demonstrates the unity and strength of spirit of Ukrainian energy workers. The number of participants ranges from 11 to 14 teams, which include not professional athletes but employees of the companies – from managers to workers – united by their love of football and desire to help the defenders of Ukraine.
The tournaments are fiercely competitive but friendly, with teams demonstrating their sportsmanship. It is not only the competitive excitement that is important, but also the opportunity for personal communication, exchange of experience and establishment of partnerships between representatives of different energy companies.
The culmination of each tournament is the awarding ceremony and recognition of the best players in various nominations. However, the main result of the Energy Cup is the funds raised for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Every year, the Energy Cup is gaining momentum, becoming an increasingly anticipated event in the energy industry, which once again emphasizes the concern and readiness of Ukrainian energy workers to support their country in difficult times. The sixth ENERGY CUP – Spring 2025 tournament, which will take place on May 31, is the next step in this important mission.
The tournament is held according to a mixed system, which includes the following stages
Group stage: Teams are divided into several groups by drawing lots. In each group, teams play each other.
Quarterfinals: The top two teams from each group advance to the quarterfinals.
Semifinals: The winners of the quarterfinals meet in the semifinals.
Match for third place: The losing teams in the semifinals compete for third place.
Final: The winners of the semifinals play for the main prize of the tournament.
For security reasons, the location of the event will be announced to registered participants before the event.
