Energy Club invites representatives of territorial communities and businesses to participate in an online course dedicated to the development of distributed generation in Ukraine.
In today’s conditions, when Ukraine’s energy security is more acute than ever, distributed generation is one of the key factors in achieving energy independence and sustainable development of communities. This online course offers a unique opportunity for communities to take control of their energy future and contribute to a more sustainable Ukraine. Energy Club, understanding the importance of this topic, initiated the online course “Distributed Generation: A Step Towards Energy Independence of Ukraine”, which will start in February and last 3 months. The course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and practical tools to implement projects in this area.
Distributed generation is the production of electricity from renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind turbines, biogas plants, etc.) directly at the points of consumption, which allows reducing dependence on centralized energy systems and increasing the reliability of energy supply.
The course is aimed at a wide range of students, including heads and secretaries of village, town and city councils, specialists in economic development, housing and communal services and energy departments, investors and business representatives.
