24.01.2025

Energy Club invites representatives of territorial communities and businesses to participate in an online course dedicated to the development of distributed generation in Ukraine.

In today’s conditions, when Ukraine’s energy security is more acute than ever, distributed generation is one of the key factors in achieving energy independence and sustainable development of communities. This online course offers a unique opportunity for communities to take control of their energy future and contribute to a more sustainable Ukraine. Energy Club, understanding the importance of this topic, initiated the online course “Distributed Generation: A Step Towards Energy Independence of Ukraine”, which will start in February and last 3 months. The course will provide participants with the necessary knowledge and practical tools to implement projects in this area.

Distributed generation is the production of electricity from renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind turbines, biogas plants, etc.) directly at the points of consumption, which allows reducing dependence on centralized energy systems and increasing the reliability of energy supply.

  • Economic aspects: participants will gain knowledge about the economic efficiency of distributed generation projects, financing opportunities and attracting investments.
  • Legal aspects: the course will help to understand the legislative framework governing the field of distributed generation, permit procedures and other legal nuances.
  • Practical cases and successful examples: participants will get acquainted with real distributed generation projects that have already been successfully implemented in Ukraine, which will help them avoid mistakes and apply best practices.

Course lecturers:
Leading experts of Energy Club, representatives of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency, “Ukrhydroenergo”, “Huawei”, “TPS ENGINEERING”, AVELLUM, “Fedotov Partners”, the Association “Gas Traders of Ukraine”, the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEB) and other leading companies and organizations.
