The VI Charity Football Tournament Energy Cup – Spring 2025, organized by Energy Club, was held in the capital with incredible enthusiasm and sporting excitement. The event, which has already become a good tradition for the energy community of Ukraine, once again united 12 teams of leading companies in the industry for a noble goal – raising funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Throughout the day, a tense but respectful struggle took place on the football field. The teams demonstrated not only excellent physical training, but also real team spirit and a thirst for victory. Following the spectacular matches, the podium was distributed as follows:
🥇 1st place – Vinnytsiaoblenergo JSC
🥈 2nd place – Zaporizhzhia NPP
🥉 3rd place – TsENTRENERGO PJSC
The Vinnytsiaoblenergo team demonstrated exceptional skill and unity, deservedly winning the gold medals of the tournament.
However, the main victory of the Energy Cup was the unwavering solidarity of energy workers in supporting the Ukrainian defenders. All funds raised during the event will be used to purchase critically important equipment for the legendary K-2 unit of the 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment, commanded by Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Colonel Kyrylo Veres. This assistance will strengthen the combat capabilities of our soldiers and bring our common victory closer.
“For the sixth time, the Energy Cup has confirmed its status not just as a sports competition, but also as an important platform for informal communication and strengthening partnerships within the energy community of Ukraine,” said Energy Club President Andriy Kostrytsia. “It is not professional athletes who take to the field, but company employees – from managers to workers, united by a love of football and a sincere desire to help the army. It is this unity that makes our tournament unique.”
The organizers also announced that in the near future, vivid photo and video reports from the tournament will be published on the official website and on Energy Club social networks so that everyone can feel the atmosphere of this day.
The sixth Energy Cup – Spring 2025 tournament became another vivid evidence that Ukrainian energy workers are a reliable support not only in the energy sector, but also in the joint struggle for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
