Rafał Staśkiewicz, Central and Eastern Europe Market Manager at Nord Pool (Euronext Group), has joined the program of the Europe-Ukraine Energy Trading Forum 2026: Recovery, Market Coupling & New Trading Frontiers, which Energy Club will hold on 9 June 2026 in Budapest.
The participation of a Nord Pool representative will significantly strengthen the discussion on the integration of the Ukrainian electricity market with the European market, the development of market coupling, cross-border electricity trading, market liquidity and efficient price formation.
Nord Pool is one of Europe’s key power exchanges, and its experience is particularly important for Ukraine in the context of its gradual alignment with the single European electricity market, the implementation of European trading rules and the development of transparent market mechanisms.
Rafał Staśkiewicz is responsible for market development in Central and Eastern Europe at Nord Pool, including engagement with Ukrainian energy market participants. His expertise will be especially valuable for the discussion on the role of power exchanges in market integration, liquidity development, transparency and efficient price formation.
At the Budapest forum, participants will discuss new opportunities for Ukrainian and European traders, investors, suppliers, generators, technology companies and infrastructure operators in the context of Ukraine’s energy recovery, market coupling, BESS development, new generation, cross-border trading, gas infrastructure, biomethane, REMIT and CBAM.
Europe-Ukraine Energy Trading Forum 2026 will take place on 9 June 2026 at the Budapest Marriott Hotel. The event will be held in English, without interpretation.
