On May 14, the final session of the online course “Distributed Generation: a step towards energy independence of Ukraine”, organized by Energy Club, took place. Over the course of three months, 25 participants studied twice a week, completing 6 training modules and 29 lectures, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of distributed generation development.
This course was a unique educational initiative that brought together community representatives, experts, analysts, managers, and energy sector practitioners to promote Ukraine’s energy independence.
We sincerely thank all course participants for their active engagement, curiosity, and commitment to driving change in their communities.
Special thanks to each expert who generously shared their knowledge, experience, and real-life case studies. Thanks to your contribution, the course was in-depth, comprehensive, and extremely valuable:
The training was conducted on the Softbook platform, with access to session recordings and presentations. The course program covered six modules, including technical, economic, legal, and practical aspects of implementing distributed generation. Special focus was given to real case studies, financial models for projects, finding partners and investors, and the regulatory framework governing distributed generation in Ukraine.
Certificate awarding will take place on June 12 in Kyiv during the forum “Energy System in the Name of the Consumer: The Voice of Industry for Energy Security and Technological Development.”
Energy Club thanks everyone who joined this initiative and invites further collaboration to advance a sustainable, efficient, and secure energy sector in Ukraine.
