Energy of Unity for Victory: The Date of the ENERGY CUP 2026 Charity Tournament Has Been Confirmed

The Energy Club community officially announces the date of the seventh Charity Football Tournament among energy companies of Ukraine — ENERGY CUP 2026. The event will take place on June 20, 2026, from 11:00 to 19:00.

For the seventh time, the Energy Cup brings together energy industry leaders, experts, and leading professionals, not only for sporting achievements but around a great and noble cause — systemic assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This year’s tournament is aimed at supporting the legendary unit — the 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade “K-2” under the command of the Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant Colonel Kyrylo Veres.

A tradition converted into technologies of victory

Launched in the difficult year of 2022, the tournament has become a symbol of the resilience and solidarity of Ukrainian energy workers. Over its four years of existence, the initiative has come a long way from meeting the basic needs of the front line (field beds and heating stoves in 2022) to the large-scale procurement of high-tech equipment. Thanks to the contributions of participants, previous tournaments have made it possible to deliver dozens of evacuation stretchers, EW systems, repeaters, and dozens of strike FPV drones to various units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In today’s realities, the main motive was and remains to help our defenders. Energy workers hold their front every day — ensuring the stable operation of the power system under constant threats and attacks. This support is critical, as light in homes is also a component of our defense capability,” — notes the CEO of JSC Vinnytsiaoblenergo (winners of the VI tournament), Yuriy Kasich.

For regular participants, including companies like Vector VS, ZNPP, PJSC Centrenergo, and many others, this event is not about formality or a dry standings table. It is a space of trust, informal communication, professional experience exchange, and a demonstration of a strong corporate civic stance.

Event Program and Regulations

The tournament will be held according to a mixed system (group stage and knockout games) on several fields simultaneously:

• 11:00 — Qualifying games. Matches in groups A, B, C, and D (each team will play two games in its group).
• 15:20 — Semi-finals. The clash of the best group teams for the right to advance to the grand final.
• 16:20 — Third-place match. Fierce battle for bronze medals on the central field.
• 17:20 — Final. The decisive game for the main trophy of ENERGY CUP 2026.
• 18:20 — Awards ceremony. Ceremony to honor the winners and runners-up, and to announce the final results of the charity fundraiser.

Safety first: For security reasons, the exact location of the event will be communicated to registered participants individually on the eve of the tournament.
