Energy Club launches a series of online discussions ahead of the Forum "Recovery and Investment in Ukraine's Energy Sector" in Rome

Ahead of the key international event in Rome, Energy Club will host two strategic online discussions. Their goal is to analyze the previous experience of the restoration of the Ukrainian energy sector and help future Forum participants prepare for work and conclusion of real agreements.

These online meetings will combine political statements made at international conferences with real business needs and investment opportunities that will be presented in Rome.

Meeting 1: “Energy Restoration of Ukraine: Retrospective and Lessons from the Conferences in Lugano, London and Berlin”

The first discussion will be devoted to the analysis of what has already been done. Together with experts, we will objectively assess the results of key international restoration conferences. The focus of the conversation will be on how political agreements have turned into real projects, financing and changes in the regulatory field. We will identify successful cases and key problems that still need to be solved.

Questions for discussion:

• Which top 3 energy initiatives announced in Lugano, London and Berlin are working today?
• Which financial instruments have proven to be the most effective for energy companies, and what hinders raising funds?
• Has there been a real shift from “emergency aid” to long-term “green” investments (Build Back Better)?
• What key legislative changes have been stimulated by the conferences?
• What critical energy issues have been left out of the attention of major political summits?

Meeting 2: “Rome Forum Navigator: From Strategy to Contracts”

The second meeting is a transition from analytics to practice and your guide to the Rome Forum. We will focus on how our specialized event will help turn strategic discussions into concrete business opportunities. We will analyze the program, introduce key speakers and projects. You will learn about the most promising niches for investment and what is needed to sign memorandums, new partnerships and profitable contracts.

• How does the Forum in Rome complement large political conferences, focusing on B2B and B2G?
• What topics and projects will be most interesting for investors?
• What level of participants and speakers is expected, with whom will direct negotiations be possible?
