Artem Martyniuk, Vice President of Energy Club, represented our community at a high-level meeting at the Government House. The meeting was chaired by Taras Kachka, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine. Participants focused on discussing the final text of the draft Law on the Principles of State Anti-Corruption Policy for 2026–2030. This strategic document has been under development for two years, grounded in 26 large-scale studies that provided a detailed analysis of the current situation in the country.

Expected results and the community’s position:

  • The primary goal of implementing the strategy is to reduce corruption levels in Ukraine to European standards (approximately 10–12%).
  • At this stage, civil society representatives consider the proposed text of the strategy to be sound and substantial.
  • The main concern lies in the upcoming parliamentary approval process. It is crucial that the strategy remains intact and is not fragmented or weakened during its review in the Verkhovna Rada.

Energy Club continues to actively support initiatives aimed at establishing transparent rules of the game in Ukraine’s energy sector. The draft Anti-Corruption Strategy was submitted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) to the Government on April 2, 2026.
