The forum "Human Resources Strategy in Energy: From Education to Market Realities" was held in Kyiv

On November 6, Kyiv hosted a forum called “Human Resources Strategy in Energy: From Education to Market Realities,” organized by Energy Club, Ukraine’s largest business community of energy companies. The event was dedicated to the current issues of human resources management in the energy sector of Ukraine in the face of new challenges.

The forum brought together representatives of energy companies, educational institutions, government agencies, and industry experts to discuss key issues and prospects for developing human resources in the energy sector.

Main topics of discussion:

• Requirements for professionals in the energy industry: European experience, interaction between education and business, problems of personnel training.
• Human resource management of the industry: renewal and modernization, innovations, corporate programs, motivation and retention of personnel.

Among the speakers of the forum were:

• Representatives of leading energy companies: NPC Ukrenergo, SE NNEGC Energoatom, GTS Operator of Ukraine, JSC Kharkivoblenergo, VectorVS, Voltage Group.
• Education experts: National Technical University “Dniprovska Polytechnic”, Ivano-Frankivsk National University of Oil and Gas, National University “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yuriy Kondratyuk”.
• Representatives of state and regulatory bodies.

The panel discussions were moderated by:

• Andriy Kulykov, a well-known journalist and media expert.
• Valerii Bezus, Vice President of Energy Club.

The forum participants noted the importance of cooperation between business and education for training highly qualified personnel capable of working effectively in the conditions of transformation of the energy sector of Ukraine.
