Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEB) is the leader in exchange trading in Ukraine, providing and conducting electronic trading in a wide range of energy resources. UEB provides the market with transparent price indicators that are formed by competitive methods.

History

The Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEB) was founded in 2010 with the aim of creating an organized energy exchange market in Ukraine and forming national benchmarks. Over the past three years, more than 25 thousand transactions have been concluded on the UEB platform, with 100% of transactions ending with full fulfillment of the parties’ obligations, and the total sales volume is more than UAH 65 billion. The volume of natural gas trading on the exchange accounts for 6% of the wholesale market, 20% of the liquefied gas market, 5% of the oil products market and 7% of the coal market. Currently, more than 900 companies trade on the UEB. Both small market participants and international companies, major mining companies, large global traders and state-owned enterprises participate in exchange trading.

Services

UEB conducts trades using a wide range of exchange technologies and instruments. The exchange operates a system of guarantees of execution of transactions and risk management. Trade is carried out in the following energy areas: petroleum products, natural gas, liquefied gas, oil and gas condensate, coal products, raw materials and other products, electric energy (bilateral contracts market) and biofuel trade. A separate area of ​​activity is Prozorro.Sale. In terms of property sales in this area, UEB ranks first. The State Geology and Subsoil Service of Ukraine conducts electronic auctions for the sale of subsoil use permits in ProZorro.Sale through the UEB platform.
