About the Company
EDS is a holding company with horizontal integration, which allows it to have its own technologies and competencies in project development, design, construction of energy facilities, production of electrical equipment, operation of energy facilities, construction of roads and real estate.
Its main specialization is the construction of energy facilities, including the design and construction of industrial solar power plants in the EPC format.
History
THE GROUP INCLUDES
2009 – The construction division of the EDS Group was established.
2010 – The energy and engineering divisions of the EDS Group were established.
2011-2014 – The EDS Group was established and began collaborating on a number of projects with major market players such as DTEK, MHP, the ATB chain, Interpipe, and Ukrainian Railways.
2015 – The first unit of electrical switchboard equipment under the EDS trademark was assembled.
2016 – EDS Group entered the renewable energy business.
2017 – The total production volume of electrical switchboard equipment reached 1,500 units.
The first industrial solar power plant, Sun Energy, with a capacity of 2 MW, was built and launched in Pidhorodne (Dnipropetrovsk region).
2018 – A new area of activity was launched: development.
The annual volume of renewable energy facilities built by the EDS Group reached 40 MW.
2019 – Entry into the wind energy market and signing of the first international contract with Chinese system investor PowerChina for the construction of cable lines for the Sivash wind power plant.
EDS Project ranked first in the rating of SES designers according to the GetMarket investment platform.
EDS Engineering entered the TOP 5 (4th place) in the rating of SES general contractors according to the GetMarket investment platform.
The EDS Group received the highest level of EPC contractor certification from Ukrgasbank.
2020 – The EDS Group’s most ambitious project, the 330/35 kV Zaporizhzhia WPP high-voltage electrical substation in Nadezhdine, was built from scratch to collect power from the 500 MW Zaporizhzhia WPP. After the expansion, EDS Power was opened – a powerful industrial and logistics hub for the assembly of electrical switchboard equipment.
