From March 23 to 26, 2026, the Rayton team participated in the 43rd annual International Battery Seminar & Exhibit in Orlando (Florida, USA) — the world’s oldest and largest event dedicated to battery technologies and energy storage.
This year, the event brought together key industry players. Global giants such as General Motors, Panasonic, LG Energy Solution, Tesla, Ford, and Microsoft met on a single platform alongside leading U.S. national laboratories. The seminar’s primary focus was the transition from research to the mass deployment of energy storage innovations.
For Rayton, participating in this summit was a strategic move. Given the challenges facing the Ukrainian energy system, the company focused on its core areas of interest at the conference: Large-Scale Energy Storage (industrial-scale storage systems) and AI for Energy Storage (artificial intelligence for energy management).
The company explored the latest approaches to battery architecture, next-generation chemistry (including the evolution of LFP cells and sodium-ion technologies), and the implementation of intelligent EMS systems for balancing grids at the enterprise level.
Sharing her vision on how global trends will impact the development of energy independence in Ukraine, Olha Lesko, Co-founder and Director of Rayton, noted:
“The global energy market is currently undergoing a tectonic shift. The era when batteries were merely a backup is over — today, they are the intelligent core of any enterprise. At the International Battery Seminar, we see market leaders implementing AI for generation forecasting and real-time management of industrial energy storage systems (BESS). Our participation here is not just about networking. It is our responsibility to Ukrainian businesses. Rayton’s clients demand maximum reliability, and we must integrate the best global experience, the safest technologies, and cutting-edge expertise to guarantee them absolute energy autonomy under any conditions.”
