Metropoliya Group of Companies is a full-cycle engineering structure in the energy sector — from the inception of an idea to its practical implementation.

Metropoliya Group was established on April 13, 2006. Thanks to a professional approach and non-trivial solutions, the company has earned a positive business reputation and built constructive partnership relations with many major companies represented in the Ukrainian energy market.

History

Metropoliya Group of Companies deals with a wide range of scientific and technical issues, such as power grid and regional power development schemes, the integration of Ukraine’s Integrated Power System into the European energy grid, energy export, enhancing the reliability of power hubs, feasibility studies for constructing new power transmission lines, and the implementation of new technologies.

Services

Metropoliya Group provides consulting services to state monopolies and major energy market players to optimize their operations. An important element of its work includes forming a regulatory framework and developing strategies in compliance with EU standards and requirements.

The organization designs all types of energy facilities and engineering networks (power plants, electrical grids, as well as energy infrastructure for industrial enterprises and commercial complexes). Furthermore, Metropoliya Group acts as a general contractor for the turn-key construction of all types of energy facilities and engineering networks (performing construction, installation, and commissioning works, providing technical supervision, as well as selecting and supplying equipment and materials).

A significant share of the organization’s projects consists of “green” initiatives — ranging from large-scale wind and solar power plants to small-scale niche solutions (e.g., small generation systems fueled by landfill gas). On a global scale, Metropoliya Group addresses the organic integration of renewable generation into the Integrated Power System of Ukraine and actively promotes the development of an efficient and progressive legislative framework for the alternative energy sector.
