About the Company

“Kramatorskteploenergo” Limited Liability Company (hereinafter – “Kramatorskteploenergo” LLC) is the largest heat supply organization in Kramatorsk, providing heating for 92,000 residents, including children, the elderly, and wounded military personnel in hospitals. Heat is supplied to 528 apartment buildings, 23 kindergartens, 20 schools, 53 medical facilities, 66 social institutions, and 845 budgetary and commercial organizations. It also provides electricity to over 206,000 people.

“Kramatorskteploenergo” LLC ensures the operation of the Kramatorsk Combined Heat and Power Plant (Kramatorsk CHPP).

History

• 1934-1937 – Construction and commissioning of the combined heat and power plant for the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant (Krammashzavod CHPP – Phase I). The installed capacity of the CHPP was 25 MW;

• 1941-1943 – Evacuation of part of the equipment, disabling the remainder, and the destruction of primary buildings and structures during the occupation;

• 1954-1957 – Construction of Phase II of the CHPP. Increase of installed capacity to 50 MW;

• 1958 – Transfer of the CHPP from the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant (NKMZ) to the “Donbassenergo” Regional Energy Management of the Ministry of Energy of the Ukrainian SSR;

• 1972-1978 – Construction of Phase III of the Kramatorsk CHPP, increasing the installed capacity to 150 MW;

• 1999 – Transfer of the CHPP to the municipal ownership of the city;

• January 1, 2007 – Establishment of a new enterprise, “Kramatorskteploenergo” LLC, with the direct participation of the City Council. The city’s share is 40%, and “Hamachi Limited” holds 60%.
