Two Years on the Energy Front: A Summary of My Work at JSC UKRAINIAN DISTRIBUTION GRIDS

Dear colleagues and friends,

On September 8, I concluded my mission as head of JSC UKRAINIAN DISTRIBUTION GRIDS. These two years have been an incredible experience, filled with challenges and achievements during the most difficult times for our country. I am proud of what we have managed to accomplish together.

Most of all, I am proud of our team, which demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and patriotism every day. Through our joint efforts, we were able to achieve results that were felt by both citizens and businesses:

• We developed mechanisms for emergency mutual assistance between DSOs (Distribution System Operators), which allowed us to more effectively protect our energy system from the aggressor’s attacks.
• We simplified the connection procedures for consumers and businesses, supporting investment projects in the energy sector.
• We created modern service centers to be closer to the people.

These were not just projects, but our contribution to the resilience and future of Ukraine.

At the same time, we have laid a strong foundation for the company’s future development. We managed to implement the project of creating the management company JSC UDG virtually from scratch, strengthen its financial foundation, and introduce best practices in corporate governance.

Today, I leave the company with increased assets, available funds in its accounts, and no accounts payable. All conditions have been created for further movement towards European standards, as was declared when the company was established.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who was a part of our journey and walked alongside us. I believe in the future of JSC UKRAINIAN DISTRIBUTION GRIDS and am convinced that the new team will continue to develop the company successfully.
