About the Company

MHP is an international food and agrotech company. MHP is actively developing its bioenergy sector as an important element of its sustainable development strategy.

MHP Verdant covers the production of biogas and biomethane, electricity from renewable sources, production of organic fertilizers, sale of fats for alternative fuel generation, and the development of new energy projects for the holding.

History

The history of MHP began in 1998 with a single company – “Myronivsky Hliboproduct”.

In 2011, MHP began developing the “Biogas” project, which involved the construction of a biogas plant using chicken manure at the facilities of the “Oril-Lider” poultry farm.

In 2018, at the facilities of the Vinnytsia Poultry Farm, MHP began the construction of “Biogas Ladyzhyn”—the largest biogas complex for processing chicken manure in Europe and MHP’s second biogas plant.

Currently, MHP has 3 biogas complexes: two in Ukraine and one in the Balkans.

In 2024, the company planned to start processing its produced biogas into biomethane, and in February 2025, MHP Verdant exported the first batch of biomethane to the EU.
