Registration is ongoing for the new online training course from Energy Club “Communications and Interaction in Energy: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine,” which will begin in June. It is designed specifically for professionals from Energy Club member companies to enhance their competence and provides knowledge and tools for effective work in Ukraine’s energy sector.
The course lecturers will be leading expert practitioners.
Among them is Renata Iaresko: founder and director of the consulting and communications agency CommsTrue; business consultant on strategic communications, risk management, and sustainable development; Candidate of Economic Sciences; member of the ESG Liga expert council, expert with 8 years of experience in PR, communications, and personal brand development.
In the course “Communications and Interaction in Energy: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine,” Renata Iaresko will discuss stakeholder mapping and crisis communications in energy; ESG communications and sustainable development; communication support for innovative and infrastructural projects.
“Considering my experience in teaching and working in the field of communications, I accepted the invitation from Energy Club President Andrii Kostrytsia to become a lecturer in the new training course, as I can share valuable knowledge and practical cases with colleagues,” says Renata. “I chose these specific areas because they are currently fundamental in communications: we need to understand who we are communicating with and in what language. Moreover, the field of sustainable investment and sustainable development reporting is actively developing today, so ESG communications are becoming increasingly relevant. If a company aims to find international partners, enter international markets, and gain direct access to financial resources, it needs to consider the ESG aspect, which is key in determining cooperation prospects (ESG is an approach to business that combines profitability with responsibility to society and the environment – a set of standards for company operations that is important for investors). Therefore, it is very important for companies to communicate correctly on this topic.”
All lecture materials are Renata Iaresko’s original developments, based on a significant number of successfully implemented projects in communications, social initiatives, and public relations, each of which was based on a unique communication strategy. The vast majority of projects have received recognition and awards from stakeholders and independent experts, including at the annual CSR case competition and the UN Global Compact partnership competition.
“The lectures in the course are my personal approach and experience, my vision, formed based on many years of work and the study of ESG topics,” emphasized the expert. “They will be useful both for experienced communicators and for newcomers in this field. We will start with an explanatory theoretical foundation to be able to speak a common language in the future. If the listeners have additional questions, we will be happy to communicate in a personal format.”
Various enterprises, including energy companies, turn to the consulting and communications agency CommsTrue, for which Renata Iaresko conducts corporate training. Therefore, the listeners of the course “Communications and Interaction in Energy: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine” will have a unique opportunity to access the knowledge base used by a limited circle of professionals.
The course “Communications and Interaction in Energy: Strategies for PR, Marketing, GR, and Lobbying in Ukraine” aims to enhance the communication capabilities of companies, promote their competitiveness, and support the sustainable development of Ukraine’s energy sector.
It helps to strengthen the trust of stakeholders (authorities, communities, investors, media), support business goals in a highly regulated environment, and offers an integrated approach, combining PR, marketing, GR, and lobbying to create synergistic strategies that contribute to the success of companies.
The course duration is 12 weeks, and classes include 1-2 sessions per week (60-90 minutes), with interactive discussions after each topic.
