Energy Club received a request from Energy Partnership LLC for support in resolving pressing issues faced by electricity suppliers in Ukraine.
Specifically, the company points out difficulties in collecting debts from state-owned enterprises and the lack of a clear procedure for acquiring and terminating the status of “Pre-default” and “Default” for suppliers, which creates risks for the stability of energy supply.
Energy Club, acting to protect the interests of its members and the energy sector as a whole, is reviewing the request and holding consultations with other member companies.
If the issue is confirmed to be relevant, Energy Club will organize meetings with representatives of companies, the regulator (NPC “Ukrenergo”), and stakeholders to discuss solutions.
