Ukrhydroenergo sold the first guarantees of origin of electricity

The price of one guarantee of origin was 13 UAH per 1 MWh, which corresponds to the starting price.

In total, 50 thousand guarantees were put up for auction, which corresponds to 50 thousand MWh of environmentally friendly electricity. This is the first step towards the formation of a national market for renewable energy, which will contribute to a more transparent and environmentally responsible development of the energy sector of Ukraine.

The auctions open up new opportunities for companies that seek to support the use of renewable sources and actively participate in global initiatives to decarbonize the economy.
