Key Responsibilities:
- processing technical solutions for building ACS TP (Automated Process Control Systems);
- working with design and technical documentation;
- developing configuration for RTU controllers (Hitachi Energy, Siemens, GE, SEL);
- participating in the process of integrating new technological equipment with ACS TP systems using modern data transfer protocols (Relay Protection and Automation microprocessors, digital converters, data acquisition devices, etc.);
- working with IT equipment (3G and 4G modems, routers, switches, time servers, server equipment, etc.);
- performing commissioning works at energy facilities in Ukraine;
- performing installation supervision works;
- working with general contracting and subcontracting organizations, as well as with the Customer’s services;
- conducting control tests and handing over facilities to the Customer;
- preparation of as-built and acceptance documentation.
What matters to us:
- higher education (power engineering, electrical engineering, or electromechanical);
- knowledge and understanding of the functions of the main primary and secondary electrical equipment of power substations;
- ability to work with electrical schematic and single-line diagrams;
- skills in working with manual power tools and a multimeter;
- knowledge of English at a level sufficient for reading technical documentation;
- readiness for business trips within Ukraine.
Will be a plus:
- knowledge and understanding of the basics and principles of power generation and distribution;
- knowledge and understanding of the principles of construction and operation of Relay Protection and Automation (RPA) systems, experience with modern RPA protection terminals;
- knowledge and understanding of the basics of building ACS TP systems;
- knowledge and understanding of the basics of PUE (Electrical Installation Regulations) and PTB (Safety Regulations) in electrical installations;
- possession of a category “B” driver’s license and driving experience (2+ years).
